About the HP ALM Microsoft Excel Add-in

The HP ALM Microsoft Excel Add-in enables you to export your test plan, requirements, or defects in Microsoft Excel directly to HP ALM. You can view the exported test plan in the test plan tree, the exported requirements in the requirements tree, and the exported defects in the defects grid.

Installation Instructions

  1. Install Microsoft Excel on your HP ALM client machine.
  2. Uninstall any previous versions of this add-in.
  3. Refer to the HP ALM Microsoft Excel Add-in Guide to review additional important installation instructions.
  4. Click the relevant download link to download and install this add-in on your HP ALM client machine.

 

Note: To install this add-in for all users, you must log in with administrator privileges. To install this add-in for the current user, administrator privileges are not required.

Note: This is the latest version of the HP ALM Microsoft Excel Add-in for ALM 11.00 and 11.5x. This version will be the only supported version going forward for ALM 11.00 and 11.5x. In this version, the HP ALM Microsoft Excel Add-in can be installed for the current user without administrator privileges. To continue to use the existing version of the HP ALM Microsoft Excel Add-in for ALM 11.00 and 11.50, refer to the HP ALM Microsoft Excel Add-in for ALM 11.00 and 11.50 - Administrator Rights Required page.
