About HP ALM Synchronizer


HP ALM Synchronizer enables you to:

  • Synchronize defect data between HP ALM and Rational ClearQuest or Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Synchronize requirement data between HP ALM and Rational RequisitePro or Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Synchronize requirement and defect data between HP ALM and Atlassian JIRA.
    Note: Synchronization of requirement data with JIRA is available only as a technical preview.
  • Synchronize requirement and defect data between HP ALM and  IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC).
  • Synchronize defect data between two ALM projects.
  • Develop additional third party adapters for requirement or defect synchronization using the HP ALM Synchronizer Adapter Software Development Kit.

Installation Instructions

  1. Right-click HP ALM Synchronizer Server for version 12.20, and choose Save Target As. In the Save As dialog box, select a location to save the file on your server machine and click Save.
  2. Unzip the saved file and run the file setup.exe.
  3. Click HP ALM Synchronizer Client below and  install the HP ALM Synchronizer client on your client machine.
